Cory Aquino raised Toting Bunye's hand in '88 and NP common candidates
Corazon Aquino endorsed the candidacy of Ignacio Bunye, the spokesperson under the Gloria Macapagal administration.
Common candidates for Lakas ng Bansa and PDP Laban in January 1988 local elections
The first local elections held during the Corazon Aquino years was on January 1988. Coalition partners Lakas ng Bansa (Cory's party) and PDP Laban (Pimentel's party) formed an agreement on common candidates. Here are some in Mindanao.
